Ashley Robertson is a Data Coordinator at Continuum Ag, having joined the team in August 2024. Originally from Crawfordsville, Iowa, Ashley now resides just south of Riverside. She holds a BSc in Ecology from the University of Georgia and an MSc in Biological Sciences. Ashely proudly claims to be “the only Dawg at Continuum!”
As a Data Coordinator, Ashley assists the RSAs with data collection, ensuring documentation and verification. She is also responsible for tracking interactions and progress to help streamline operations and enhance the overall efficiency of Continuum Ag’s projects.
With a career spanning 15 years in various environmental roles, Ashley brings a wealth of experience in research, consultancy, and education. Before joining Continuum Ag, she spent eight years in New Zealand, where she founded a business dedicated to connecting landowners with government programs for free and low-cost restoration of highly erodible soils and waterways. Ashley also co-authored a soil science paper published in a major academic journal.
Ashley’s family has a deep-rooted farming history in Washington County, Iowa, where they manage a mix of livestock and row crop operations. During her time in New Zealand, she lived on a small farm with Angus cattle, saddleback pigs, and a variety of poultry.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, and gardening, as well as cooking and taking relaxing Sunday drives. She recently returned to rural Iowa to provide her daughter, Wren, with the same formative experiences she cherished growing up. Ashley’s professional mantra is simple: to leave things better than she found them.
