Jacob Chambers joined Continuum Ag as an Ag Sales Rep in August 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from diverse agricultural and wildlife roles. Originally from La Junta, Colorado, Jacob earned his associate’s degree from Otero Junior College and later completed a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology with a minor in Agribusiness from Adams State University.
Before joining Continuum Ag, Jacob worked as a fish hatchery technician for Colorado Parks and Wildlife and gained hands-on farming experience across Colorado, working on a seed potato operation and a sheep grazing farm. Eventually, his passion for farming brought him to Iowa, where he worked alongside a small farmer near Albia.
Now based in southern Iowa, Jacob helps manage a certified organic cow-calf finishing operation that produces hay, wheat, oats, and sorghum. He lives with his wife, Makayla, and they are expecting their first child in the winter of 2024.
At Continuum Ag, Jacob is committed to helping producers begin using TopSoil and Carbon Intensity (CI) tools, guiding them through the early stages of the CI Certification process. His goal is to support producers in earning a premium for making sustainable and community-focused improvements to their farms and soils.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys reading, ice fishing, and catfishing and is an avid waterfowl hunter. He’s passionate about the outdoors and dedicated to making a positive impact on the farming industry.
